The talk explores the concept of the GAP, the space between where you are and where you want to be, and gives 3 transformative lessons to live a life of growth, awareness and peace. Barbadian Jaslyn Hall is curious about life, and a passionate doyen of world music. She is a motivational speaker and creative strategist, with more than 25 years of worldwide experience in education, event planning, radio, and TV as a presenter and producer. Jaslyn leads multicultural, cross-functional project teams for cultural festivals, world expositions and Government, corporate and community events in Barbados and internationally. Most notably as Artistic Consultant for 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Arts Committee, Music coordinator for The Cultural programme of the Australian Pavilion, Nagoya, Japan, 2005, Project lead for UNICEF U-Report initiative for youth across the 11 countries of the English-Speaking Caribbean (2021) Consultant to Barbados Heritage Month, Division of Culture in the Prime Minister's Office, and delights in her present role as Executive Assistant to the Hon. Esther Phillips, Poet Laureate of Barbados. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
