From Home Curtains to a Fashion Brand | My TEDx Story | Rawan Besomi | TEDxMEU

From wrapping myself in bedroom curtains to designing for real women, this is my journey of turning a dream into reality. I started as an accountant, then followed my passion for fashion design beginning at home, moving to a small shop, and now running my own bigger boutique. It wasn’t easy challenges were everywhere but every step was worth it. This is the dream of every girl who believes in herself Rawan Besomi, a Jordanian fashion designer, began her journey with a simple passion for design despite studying in a different field. At the age of 21, she founded her brand ‘Jacketah,’ expanding it from her home to a 350m² store. Today, with more than 10 years of experience, she shares her journey to inspire and support the new generation in the world of fashion This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
