Forest Conservation is Conversation on Life | Srinivasulu IFS | TEDxABBS

Forests are more than trees - they are the laboratories of life, holding secrets of biodiversity, medicine, food security, and survival. From 10 million species that interact in ecosystems, to life-saving medicines like Quinine (malaria), Vincristine (leukaemia), Taxol (cancer), and Digoxin (heart ailments) - forests have always been nature’s greatest pharmacy. Wild genes discovered in forests helped fuel the Green Revolution. In this talk, Srinivasulu shares how Conservation is not just about protecting tigers or trees - it is about protecting human survival, innovation, and dignity of life.
