The social power of architecture | Matilde Zuolo | TEDxFrancisHollandSchoolSloaneSquare

The social power of architecture delves into how the buildings, rooms, and streets we inhabit affect our behaviour, wellbeing and emotions. Through the exploration of the spaces that we surround ourselves in everyday, Matilde uncovers how they influence interactions and decide our mood. This talk will reveal how, by understanding these characteristics you can design a space that works harmoniously with your mind instead of against it. Matilde Zuolo is a student at Francis Holland School, currently studying Maths, Physics, and Art. She has a keen eye for design and a love for creativity, she aspires to pursue a career in architecture. Matilde has taken steps toward this goal by completing work experience at several architecture firms. Through her studies and real-life experiences, she is inspired by how built environments shape the way we live, move, and connect. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
