How Does It Feel to Be Neurodivergent? | Luke Whiteoak | TEDxYouth@YCYWShanghai

How does it feel to be neurodivergent? It is a question without a clear answer, which is why the speaker is bringing this question to TEDx—to show people how it genuinely feels from a neurodivergent person's perspective. He will be using examples such as famous neurodivergent individuals, stories from his own life, and he will also discuss stimming and the reasons why it occurs. Luke is a student studying in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, China. He is interested in writing music and sharing a different point of views with the world. Luke loves celebrating the differences that make us all unique, and he especially enjoys leveraging his own difference (autism) into the key to his success. Luke started writing rap music when he was only 9 years old, using Logic Pro to bring his music to life. In his free time, he creates his own animations and has used this in his music career for videos and trailers. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
