At this age, children reach a critical turning point in their lives as they transition to the next levels of life. However, one of their greatest desires is to be "loved" by their parents. This expectation places significant pressure on children to excel academically and find ways to make their parents proud.Jirun – Dulchayathorn Bulpatarapakorn, a role model for young people, has skills and careers that include being a representative for international robot competitions. He has a clear guideline, just like other children: strive to study well and compete to win in order to be "loved" by the family. But what if he is not academically inclined? What if he loses a competition? These questions began to plague Jirun's mind as he feared no longer being "loved."This question replayed in Jirun's mind countless times, leading him to realize that, as a 12-year-old, he needed to overcome his own expectations. Jirun wanted to share this story, simple answers, and his own experiences to help families with children who are struggling to feel loved and are experiencing stress. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
