This talk shares how two students turned small daily choices into a movement against plastic pollution, launching Plastic-Free Eco Week, leading community clean-ups and fundraisers, creating eco-kits with rural women, spreading awareness through art and social media, and even reaching global platforms with one simple message: big change begins with one small step, say no to plastic and help turn off the tap. Prachi Nagar is a versatile multitasker with diverse accolades spanning sports, fine arts, academics and community service. As a certified SCUBA Diver with a deep love for the ocean and the environment, Prachi combines her athletic spirit with her passion for conservation. Inspired to make a difference, she started Project Plastainable, an initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable living and reducing plastic waste. Through her leadership, creativity, and commitment, Prachi is driving positive environmental change to play her part in shaping a brighter and sustainable future.Sanskriti is a creative and determined learner with interests spanning art, academics, sculpting, crocheting, boxing, and all things DIY. Her passion for self-development, feminism, and sustainable living drives her to take meaningful action — most notably through Plastainable, a project aimed at reducing plastic pollution and inspiring eco-friendly habits. She believes creativity is a tool for change, whether through building with her hands, learning new skills, or advocating for causes she values.
