Sandy Krasner worked at the Jet Propulsion Lab from 1979 to 2025. He worked on missions to every planet from Mercury to Saturn, plus assorted comets and asteroids. He has decided to focus on saving one particular planet - Earth. He is the group leader for the Pasadena-Foothills chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby and a member of the Pasadena 100 coalition.Sandy lives in Altadena, a mile from the start of the Eaton fire. He was lucky that his house survived; many others did not. He knows that climate change made the Eaton fire much worse.
