Manolo Luppichini takes us to the heart of the conflict, sharing how the project “Gaza Web and the Network Trees” helped restore communication after the digital blackout, thanks to virtual eSIMs. He highlights the vital importance of connectivity in times of war, calling it an act of resistance. Manolo Luppichini is a filmmaker, reporter, and multimedia artist whose work spans over 25 years. He has directed documentaries, music videos, campaigns, and investigative reportages across Europe, the U.S., Africa, and the Middle East. A pioneer in blending emerging technologies, social issues, and visual storytelling, Manolo has founded several independent media projects aimed at raising awareness and inspiring change. He currently serves as Media Director for the NGO ACS Italia and coordinates the Gazaweb project, advocating for freedom of expression through creative media.
