The Art of Making Friends | Ugnė Gilytė | TEDxAmerican School of Warsaw
In her TED-talk, Ugné emphasizes the value of friendship. Her intention is to provide a different viewpoint on friendship and encourage people to venture beyond their comfort zones. As someone who didn’t always have an easy time forming friendships, I’ve learned over time how to build friendships and realised just how impactful they can be in one’s life. In addition to improving our sense of belonging, forming deep connections gives us the tools we need to influence our future. My experiences, including organizing a festival and currently the role of assistant director, have allowed me to see how building relationships can better resilience, teamwork, and confidence. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
