Doktorasını ise 2015 yılında İngiltere'de University of York'ta Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümünde tamamladı. Halen Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümü’nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapan Doç. Dr. Oğuzhan Bilgin Siyaset Sosyolojisi, Kültür Sosyolojisi, Modernleşme, Toplumsal Değişme, Türk Siyasal Hayatı, Kültür Politikaları gibi konularda çalışmaktadır.
