With roots in community organising and a passion for storytelling, Duke has spent over a decade amplifying the perspectives of young people who are often overlooked in policy, media, and education. His work bridges the gap between visibility and agency, challenging institutions to move beyond tokenism and toward genuine inclusion.
In his TEDx talk, “Very Seen, But Never Heard”, Duke explores the paradox of performative representation in how marginalised communities are frequently showcased but rarely given the power to shape narratives or decisions.
