The fall of the fastest passenger plane | Catherine Garrood | TEDxFrancisHollandSchoolSloaneSquare

In a world where all our technology has skyrocketed, the flight time from London to New York has doubled. How was the marvel of engineering that was the Concorde, the world's only supersonic passenger aircraft, adapted to reach such soaring speeds and, if it was so effective, then why was it retired from service? Katie Garrood is a Sixth Form student studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. She is planning to study Engineering at University. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
