In a fast paced world that can be unforgiving we learn punishment from early on. The result is that many of us become unforgiving towards ourselves and others. What if certain mistakes don't call for punishment and reform. Accountability doesn't always require punishment : it requires change and understanding. Lets question how we can efficiently and effectively reach accountability in order to see change in our lives, without being addicted to punishment. Elisa Bors is a student at Francis Holland Sloane Square. She is studying Biology, Chemistry and English A levels, she plans to study Biomedical Sciences at University. She also has a particular interest in public health. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
