O cientista espacial Dr. Clezio de Nardin trabalha na linha de frente da emergência climática — e o que ele vê é preocupante. Como ex-diretor do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, ele alerta sobre eventos climáticos extremos cada vez mais intensos e por que nossa sobrevivência depende de uma cooperação sem precedentes entre instituições para mudar completamente como prevemos e enfrentamos emergências climáticas.
O Dr. Clezio Marcos De Nardin é um cientista espacial com graduação em engenharia elétrica e doutorado em geofísica espacial. Publicou centenas de artigos e obteve 16 prêmios científicos. Foi condecorado com outros 3 prêmios regionais e nacionais por seus serviços ao País. Atuou como presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Geofísica Espacial e Aeronomia (SBGEA) e outras organizações do setor. Foi também o representante brasileiro para o Clima Espacial na OMM e no Comitê para o Uso Pacífico do Espaço Exterior das Nações Unidas. Nacionalmente, atuou como Diretor do INPE, tendo sido o Gerente Geral do Programa Embrace Clima Espacial, o Coordenador Geral de Ciências Espaciais e Atmosféricas e o Coordenador Geral de Infraestrutura e Pesquisa Aplicada. Também atuou como representante do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação na Comissão de Proteção da Amazônia Legal, vinculado à Vice-Presidência da República Federativa do Brasil.
