This talk by Nithya Rajendran (a vocalist of both Hindustani & Carnatic music) tears notions of inaccessibily of Indian classical music to the lay ear and unravels why it is a language that can be understood by one and all. Nithya Rajendran is a renowned classical vocalist and founder of Music Vruksh.Her achievements include the Bharat Kalachar and Central Government scholarships, and a certificate in Music Therapy from Nada Centre.She is a panel vocalist with All India Radio and has judged various music competitions.Nithya holds degrees in Economics, Communication, Photography, and Multimedia, enriching her approach to music and teaching.
