The power of everyday creativity | Emily Eisenhart | TEDxUTAustin
What if creativity wasn’t reserved for artists, but something we could all tap into every day? In this heartwarming and visually rich talk, abstract artist Emily Eisenhart invites us to rediscover the world through the eyes of a child. Drawing from her upbringing in a home that valued curiosity, her deep connection to nature, and her background in anthropology and design, Eisenhart shows how wonder, observation, and play can reawaken our creativity. From shadow patterns to city sidewalks, she reveals how beauty and inspiration are everywhere—if we just take the time to look. This talk is a reminder that creativity isn’t something we grow out of, it's something we can reignite. Emily Eisenhart turns the world into her canvas. From kinetic sculptures to sky-high murals, she is dedicated to infusing cities with art and creativity. With a formal background in Cultural Anthropology, Emily approaches her projects as an ethnographer, exploring the culture of a place to create story-driven artwork that is reflective of people and place. Her multidisciplinary work explores the dynamic interplay between our natural and built environments. By creatively transforming these spaces into places for exploration and expression, her vibrant and experiential artwork connects people with each other and with nature, sparking their curiosity, imagination, and stewardship of our natural ecosystem. She has collaborated with prominent national brands, real estate developers, architects, interior designers, and private collectors. Notable clients include Gensler, HOK, Whole Foods, Warby Parker, Rivian, YETI, SXSW, and Austin FC, among others. Pasquale and Giacinto are among the most influential AI communicators in Italy. Together, in 2019, they founded "IA Spiegata Semplice", Italy’s largest AI-focused community, alongside its namesake podcast dedicated to entrepreneurs and managers. For this and more, Forbes Italia has dubbed them "Quelli dell’A.I." (The AI Guys). As leading speakers on artificial intelligence, their talks aim to educate and inform audiences about the vast potential of AI, especially in the business world. They organize AI WEEK, the largest AI event in Europe, which attracts thousands of entrepreneurs and managers and is supported by the world's top tech players. In 2020, they launched AI Play, an on-demand video platform regarded as the go-to virtual space for discovering the latest AI innovations. The platform features insights from executives at partner companies such as Microsoft, IBM, MasterCard, Google, Meta, Amazon Web Services, Enel, ESA, Salesforce, and many more. Pierpaolo D'Odorico is the Co-Founder and CEO of Datapizza, the Italian tech community that brings together over 500,000 professionals and innovators in the fields of software and artificial intelligence. With a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning, Pierpaolo has led Datapizza in developing high-impact projects with major Italian companies, fostering AI transformation and creating tailored training and recruitment programs in the tech sector.
