¿A dónde van tus impuestos? | Diego Martínez | TEDxVillacarrillo
En un país tan descentralizado como el nuestro, con tantos niveles de gobierno, mucha gente desconoce quién le facilita los servicios públicos y quién le cobra los impuestos. ¿El Estado? ¿La Seguridad Social? ¿La Comunidad Autónoma? En esas condiciones, los ciudadanos podemos tener una percepción errónea de cuánto cuestan realmente esos servicios públicos y quiénes son los responsables de gestionarlos y financiarlos.Además, como los gobiernos suelen gastar más de lo que ingresan, parte de la financiación procede de la emisión de deuda pública. En esta charla pondremos encima de la mesa las principales cuestiones estos asuntos: quién recauda nuestros impuestos para financiar determinados servicios públicos.Diego Martínez López es licenciado y doctor en CC. Económicas y Empresariales por la Universidad Complutense, actualmente es Catedrático de Economía Aplicada en la Universidad Pablo Olavide de Sevilla, editor ejecutivo de la revista Hacienda Pública Española e investigador asociado de la Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA). Previamente ha trabajado en la Universidad de Jaén, como investigador senior de la Fundación CentrA y dirigiendo el Servicio de Estudios de Cajasol. Estancias de investigación en universidades suecas (Umea y Uppsala) y en el Banco Central Europeo. Research fellow del IPTS-JRC de la Comisión Europea. Director General de Financiación y Tributos de la Junta de Andalucía (2015-2018) y Secretario General de Financiación Autonómica y Local en el Ministerio de Hacienda (2018-2020). Autor de unas 70 publicaciones científicas y participación en casi un centenar de conferencias y seminarios académicos.
