Her expertise, leadership, and passion have left an indelible mark on the industry. Now retired, she has chosen to devote her time and energy to uplifting women, guiding them towards success in their respective fields.Her remarkable contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the Dhwani Woman of Substance Award (2012). She was also recognized as one of the Most Influential Asians by Gloss Magazine. Her inspiring journey has been featured in International Indian Magazine, Gulf News, and Khaleej Times, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in the region.Beyond her professional achievements, Jonia has actively contributed to the community, serving as a Board Member of Abu Dhabi Indian School for four years. Anne-Sophie Roux travaille à la protection et la régénération du plus grand puits de carbone et de biodiversité au monde : l'Océan. Conseillère en politiques maritimes, elle a été chargée de campagne contre l'exploitation minière des fonds marins pour la Sustainable Ocean Alliance. (--ENGLISH--) Activism goes far beyond spectacular actions: it encompasses petitions, campaigns, popularization, lobbying... Faced with the threat of seabed mining, which is essential to the climate, mobilization enabled France to renounce it and inspire other countries. This story proves that collective action can protect our planet. Anne-Sophie Roux works to protect and regenerate the world's largest carbon and biodiversity sink: the ocean. A marine policy advisor, she has campaigned against seabed mining for the Sustainable Ocean Alliance.
