In questo talk, Aldo Grassini, fondatore e presidente del Museo Tattile Statale Omero, ci accompagna in una riflessione profonda sul valore della lingua come patrimonio umano e civile. Attraverso esempi e riferimenti che spaziano da Dante all’esperanto, Grassini ci ricorda che una lingua non è mai neutrale: può unire o dividere, includere o dominare, costruire ponti o innalzare muri. Difendere una lingua significa difendere la diversità e la ricchezza del pensiero. Perché, come ci insegna il nostro speaker, perdere una lingua significa perdere una parte della nostra anima collettiva. Già docente di storia e filosofia nei licei, è ideatore, fondatore ed attuale Presidente del Museo Tattile Statale “Omero” di Ancona. Come tiflologo è uno dei pochissimi specialisti, docenti e formatori in campo nazionale sulle problematiche dell’estetica della tattilità e dell’educazione artistica delle persone con disabilità visive. È autore di numerosi contributi su pubblicazioni specializzate tra cui il suo saggio “Per un’estetica della tattilità". Ma esistono davvero arti visive?” (Armando Editore, 2019) e “L’arte contemporanea e la scoperta dei valori della tattilità” (Armando Editore, 2018) con Andrea Sòcrati ed Annalisa Trasatti.
