What Health Class Didn’t Teach You About Fertility | Dr. Kaajal Abrol | TEDxUofT
Many individuals today delay pregnancy—for career goals, to find the right partner, or simply because the timing isn't right. Yet fertility naturally declines with age for women and people with ovaries, particularly after the mid-thirties. Unfortunately, awareness about fertility’s age-related decline, available testing, and preservation options remains low. Dr. Kaajal Abrol, a fertility physician, believes that now is the time to empower people with credible information to support informed family-planning decisions—for today, and for the future. Because informed individuals are empowered individuals. Dr. Kaajal Abrol is a fertility physician in Toronto. She completed medical school at McMaster University, residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto, and a fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Toronto. Dr. Abrol is dedicated to empowering individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. In addition to helping patients with fertility challenges or early pregnancy loss, Dr. Abrol is passionate about fertility preservation, specifically egg freezing. Dr. Abrol shares her expertise via social media (@kaajalabrolmd on Instagram) and as host of the Fertility Doc Talk podcast, fostering public and professional dialogue on reproductive health. - 16:24Sistemele fragile cad. Rețelele invizibile rezistă | Cristina Chiriac | TEDxTârguMureșYou can easily recognize a fragile system: it has rigid rules, reacts slowly, and collapses noisily. But the strongest structures are invisible. They are made of people who connect, not rules that are imposed. From conversations, not commands. From courage, not status. That is where lasting change is born. Cristina Chiriac is a leading voice in Romanian female entrepreneurship, blending strategic vision with authentic leadership. Founder of Flori de IE, she transforms traditional Romanian craftsmanship into a symbol of cultural diplomacy and sustainability. As president of CONAF, she drives initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs and refugees, while also contributing as a European VET Ambassador and author of influential business books.
