- 11:50FAITH AND LIFE | Jeyanth Venkatraman | TEDxYouth@RJMJeyanth Venkatraman, a MBBS graduate with a strong academic track record, would like to share on the topic 'Faith and Life'. The journey toward our goals often begins from ground zero. But with one powerful force—faith—we can leap forward as if we’ve already come halfway. This isn’t just any faith; it’s complete, unwavering belief—no doubts, no conditions. As a doctor witnessing both life and death, joy and pain, one constant that stands out is faith—in oneself, in healing, in life. While faith may not cure terminal illness, it brings hope, comfort, and meaning. It doesn't defy science but enriches the human experience. Faith helps us move faster in life—not by speed, but by strength of spirit. To build faith, start by stepping out of your comfort zone. Try something new. Growth begins where familiarity ends. Jeyanth Venkatraman, a MBBS graduate with a strong academic track record, would like to share on the topic 'Faith and Life'. - 13:43Warrior's Mindset | Priya Vardana Pandidurai | TEDxYouth@RJMPriya Vardana, a young archer and student of RJ Mantra English School, shares a journey beyond medals. For her, archery is not just a game but a path to discover the warrior within. In her TEDx talk, she speaks about missing targets in her early days but staying committed through discipline and effort. One powerful lesson she shares comes from a school experiment where she made plastic from milk by heating it, adding vinegar, and stirring until it became hard. At first, it looked like a mistake, but over time it turned useful. This showed her that like milk turning into plastic, growth takes time and care. Rushing spoils the result, but trusting the steps turns something ordinary into something remarkable. This idea helped her stay strong in archery even when progress was slow. Through her TEDx talk, she encourages others to be patient, believe in the process, and keep going no matter how difficult the journey seems. - 12:50KEEP LEARNING WITH MACHINE LEARNING | Jaash Mathi | TEDxYouth@RJMJaash is a trilingual student with deep curiosity to learn. He would like to share on 'Keep Learning with Machine Learning' Humans learn through experiences, observation, practice, and sharing knowledge, applying learning across areas. Machine learning, a part of AI, lets computers learn from data and improve without direct programming, like teaching by showing examples. It uses algorithms to find patterns and make predictions or decisions such as recognising faces, translating languages, or recommending videos. It makes tasks faster, more accurate, and safer, as in self-driving cars or medical diagnosis. He gives real-world examples like recommendation systems, voice assistants, self-driving cars, spam filters, face recognition, and fraud detection. Kids can explore machine learning using tools like Scratch and Machine Learning for Kids to build projects like chatbot, games reacting to expressions, or programs classifying waste as recyclable, compost, or garbage. - 13:14THE ROAD NOT TAKEN | Dhanushkha Veereswaran | TEDxYouth@RJM“The Road Not Taken” is a reflective narrative inspired by Robert Frost’s poem. It explores Dhanushkha’s journey of self-discovery as a left-handed person in a right-handed world. What seems a minor detail becomes a metaphor for non-conformity, identity, and courage. From childhood, she faced correction and exclusion, told she was using the “wrong” hand and expected to conform. But she chose to walk differently, challenging how society defines "right." This led to a shift: she stopped hiding and owned her difference. Through personal stories — from awkward handshakes to cultural rituals —her talk will show how norms suppress individuality, yet reclaiming identity is powerful. Moving from personal struggle to universal truth, it encourages others to question norms and embrace uniqueness. Citing Leonardo da Vinci, Marie Curie, Barack Obama, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, it shows how those who dared to be different didn’t follow the path — they became the path. “The Road Not Taken” is a reflective narrative inspired by Robert Frost’s poem. - 5:20Human values in the digital age | Zijing WANG | TEDxPennon Qingdao YouthI grew up with screens as toys, yet I still crave real sunlight on my face. While I stream dance battles and math tutorials, I’ve noticed how algorithms can shrink my world into tiny echo chambers. Today I’ll share why breaking out of our “information cocoons” matters to kids like me, and how we can keep stepping forward—curious, kind, and connected—so technology widens our stage instead of trapping us in a corner. My name is WANG Zijing, a girl who likes to observe and reflect on life, from Laoshan District Experimental Junior High School in Qingdao.
