How Laws Change Us | Regina Tassi | TEDxFrancisHollandSchoolSloaneSquare

This talk explores how laws don’t just reflect our beliefs — they actively shape them. From seatbelt mandates to same-sex marriage, it asks how legal rules evolve into moral norms, and why we sometimes obey laws out of belief, and other times out of pressure. With real-world examples and thought-provoking questions, it challenges us to consider how law changes not just our actions, but our values. Regina Tassi is a student at Francis Holland School currently studying History, Theology & Philosophy and Spanish at A level. She is deeply interested in questioning how society and morality coincide and is planning to study law at university This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
