Perder a Visão, Ganhar o Sonho: A Jornada Inclusiva | Mizael Conrado | TEDxFIA Business School Salon
Mizael nos convida a uma reflexão profunda sobre o verdadeiro significado da inclusão e o poder transformador do esporte na vida de cada indivíduo. Compartilhando sua própria jornada de vida, ele destaca como o esporte pode ser uma ferramenta poderosa para resgatar a autoestima, entregar resiliência e, acima de tudo, garantir o direito de sonhar e realizar. Sua fala é um apelo à sociedade para que enxergue a deficiência não como um problema do indivíduo, mas como um desafio do ambiente e da atitude coletiva. Mizael nasceu cego devido a uma catarata congênita e, após quatro cirurgias na infância, teve a visão restaurada. Aos nove anos, um descolamento de retina marcou o início da perda visual, que culminou na cegueira total aos 13 anos. Foi no Instituto Padre Chico, escola especial para pessoas com deficiência visual, que ele descobriu o futebol de 5, um esporte que mudou sua perspectiva de vida. Campeão mundial e duas vezes medalhista de ouro paralímpico, Mizael foi eleito o melhor jogador de futebol de 5 do mundo. Sua trajetória culminou na presidência do Comitê Paralímpico Brasileiro (CPB) em 2017, sendo reeleito em 2020. Atualmente, exerce o cargo de Secretário-Geral do CPB, defendendo incansavelmente a missão de promover o esporte paralímpico e a inclusão da pessoa com deficiência em todas as esferas da sociedade. Sua vida é um testemunho de que limitações físicas não definem o potencial humano, mas sim a capacidade de sonhar e a resiliência para transformar esses sonhos em realidade. - 16:14Shake the snow globe and think creatively | Andre Walton | TEDxAnchorageDr. Andre P. Walton explores how creativity drives human evolution in technology, relationships, and decision-making. Blending neuroscience, psychology, and personal stories, he encourages audiences to break free from rigid norms and embrace creative thinking as a daily practice. André Walton is an inventor, entrepreneur and educator. In his 20s he built businesses around his crazy ideas in medical ultrasound and professional music equipment, turning his inventions into global leaders in their field. He lived and worked in seven different countries and later earned a PhD in social psychology focused on organizational creativity. His first book, Embracing the New Era examines creativity from a unique perspective and explains many anomalies from why brainstorming doesn’t work to why creatives have a higher rate of psychological problems than most. He is a certified, accredited coach and Visiting Professor of Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Newport Business School. In his coaching practice he helps entrepreneurs and business executives overcome burnout through his unique Spherical Thinking process. He is a speaker and jazz musician living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada with his wife, Robin, and has a wonderful time with his granddaughters.
