In cricket, every player matters — from the opener to the 11th man. Then why, in a class of 40, do only 4 students get all the attention?In his TEDx talk titled “40 Silent Dreams,” Harshvardhan questions an outdated education system that glorifies toppers and sidelines silent learners. With powerful analogies, real insights, and the timeless inspiration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj — not just as a warrior but as a mentor — he urges parents and educators to recognize the spark in every child.This talk is a call to rethink how we measure success. It invites students (especially from Std. 5th to 10th) and their parents to shift focus — from marks to meaning, from pressure to purpose, and from silence to self-expression. Harshvardhan's journey began at age 14, teaching his younger brother at home, sparking his lifelong passion for education. At 15, fresh from his 10th ICSE exams, he taught at a local coaching class, balancing roles of student and teacher ever since. Today, he is the Physics Faculty and Academic Officer at Yashwant Classes, having taught over 5,000 students and led more than 150 seminars and workshops over nine years. A dedicated learner, he has completed training in Siddha Samadhi Yoga, Rapid Comprehensive Retrieval Technique, Landmark USA programs, Subconscious Mind Training, and Multiple Intelligence Analysis. He developed a 6-Layered Learning Approach to enhance conceptual understanding. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Management with a focus on educational projects, he was recently selected by IIT Delhi for a certificate in Educational Branding and Technology Integration. Inspired by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, his motto for success is :work, work, and more work.
