Il talk racconta come la cenere dell’Etna, materiale piroclastico generato durante le eruzioni, possa essere convertita da costoso rifiuto naturale in una risorsa. Tutto questo grazie alla stampa 3D. Attraverso la ricerca, la cenere vulcanica si trasforma in nuove possibilità per edilizia, restauro, oggetti utili e soluzioni sostenibili. Un esempio concreto di economia circolare nata da un vulcano. Geologa e dottoranda in Scienze della Terra e dell’Ambiente, la sua ricerca si concentra sulla valorizzazione della cenere vulcanica dell’Etna come materia prima per la produzione di materiali alternativi al cemento, sostenibili e a basso impatto ambientale. Attraverso la stampa 3D esplora nuovi approcci eco-compatibili, dove la natura e la tecnologia si incontrano per ridisegnare il modo in cui abitiamo il pianeta.
