Esta charla profundamente personal revela cómo un descubrimiento en una aldea rural de Guatemala encendió una revolución educativa que hoy corre contrarreloj para transformar al país: de estar en los últimos lugares del mundo a aspirar al Top 10 global.Juan José comparte el viaje emocional que comenzó en Paxixil, donde vio a niños caminar kilómetros para asistir a una escuela atascada en un sistema de hace 200 años, diseñado para obreros de fábrica. De esa experiencia nació una tecnología que funciona sin internet ni electricidad.Verás imágenes sorprendentes de las escuelas más remotas de Guatemala, testimonios poderosos de estudiantes y datos que muestran transformaciones dramáticas: estudiantes ciegos programando dispositivos de navegación, niñas rurales creando soluciones para personas sordas, y comunidades enteras donde la asistencia escolar saltó del 45% al 100%. Siempre ha sido fascinado por saber que tenían adentro sus juguetes, los cuales desarmaba para sacar los motores y las baterías. Estudió economía y luego negocios en Guatemala. Trabajó en el entro municipal de emprendimiento, una incubadora de negocios en la ciudad de Guatemala y en 2018 fundó 1bot inspirado en la necesidad latente por innovar el sistema educativo Guatemalteco. Una de sus grandes inspiraciones fue ver como su hermano menor hacía uso de la tecnología y el potencial que se estaba desperdiciando.Juan José ha sido nombrado estudiante emprendedor del año por EO en 2018, reconocido por la revista win como uno de los 33 emprendedores de más rápido crecimiento del país, reconocido por la revista Forbes como una de las 30 promesas de los negocios en Centroamérica y el Caribe, y ha sido aceptado con 1bot en prestigiosas aceleradoras de negocios como Mass Challenge e i3 de New Ventures.
