Per Francesca Tilio, artista e fotografa, la fotografia è un linguaggio dell’anima: un modo per raccontare ciò che le parole non riescono a dire. Attraverso la luce, il colore e lo sguardo, Francesca trasforma emozioni, silenzi e frammenti di vita in immagini capaci di toccare chi le osserva. Nel suo talk ci accompagna in un viaggio tra arte, relazioni e rinascita, dove ogni fotografia diventa una Parola Necessaria: un ponte tra persone, un gesto di libertà, un atto di bellezza e consapevolezza. Dai progetti “LINK” e “Teenagers of the 21st Century” fino al “Pink Project”, la sua ricerca diventa testimonianza viva di come la fotografia possa curare, unire e generare senso. Perché, come lei stessa ci insegna, le immagini parlano. E quando lo fanno, sanno arrivare dove le parole si fermano.
Artista e fotografa, la sua ricerca artistica si concentra sull’essere umano.
Espone alla Viewfinder Photo Gallery di Londra con la mostra Les Bonnes. Vincitrice del premio Camera d’Oro a Lens Based Art Show di Torino con il progetto di autoritratti ME² e la performance con parrucche per sole donne. Pink Project è il suo lavoro più personale, ne parlano le grandi testate italiane e sostiene la campagna nastro rosa della LILT (Lega Italiana Lotta ai Tumori). Uno dei racconti contenuti nel suo libro, Le femmine sono numeri dispari, è diventato un film dal titolo Vicini (Zen Movie).
Il suo lavoro autoriale è pubblicato nelle grandi testate italiane ed internazionali.
Dal 2023 è ideatrice e coordinatrice di Acca Fotografia, percorsi di fotografia contemporanea.

Fast fashion is draining our planet’s resources, polluting water, and filling landfills at record speed. In my talk, I’ll share how recycling textiles, and rethinking our habits can turn students like us into leaders of real change. Tarini is a waste warrior, gender advocate, painter, published author and a TEDx speaker. She is a 2023 Diana Award Winner for her work in creating awareness about the need for proper sanitary waste disposal practices and according dignity to waste pickers in India. She distributed more than 1.5 million red dot stickers due to the support extended by her municipal corporator (https://projectashtami.com/). The red dot stickers are used to identify hazardous sanitary waste. She monitizes her art and uses the proceeds to fund groceries for aged waste pickers and fund scholarships for youth in rural Maharashtra, India. When she is not studying, she volunteers in the school library. She is co-secretary to the Peer Tutoring Club and the Treasurer of the Girls Who Code Club in University High School.
