À l’issue de sa formation d’ingénieur civil des Mines (de Paris), Thanh a suivi un parcours industriel déjà hors du commun au sein du cabinet de conseil McKinsey dont elle devient la première femme partner à 30 ans.Pour des raisons qu’elle abordera lors de son talk, Thanh décide à 36 ans de changer d’activité pour promouvoir le partage de connaissances à toutes et tous. Fondatrice d’un incubateur de projet à impact sociétal (l’institut Angenius), elle pratique ce qu’elle appelle « la pollinisation des idées » et promeut des projets en lien avec l’intelligence collective, la transition socio-écologique et les modes de vie durables. En 2017, elle co-rédige avec Cédric Villani Le Manifeste des Crapauds Fous et fonde le collectif catalyseur de changement homonyme. Ils y proposent des alternatives sérieuses aux crises sociétales qu’ils nomment « les trois tsunamis » (crise écologique, fake news et menace de l’IA). Ce manifeste promeut l’audace d’effectuer un pas de côté pour changer le monde qui nous entoure.La quête de Thanh sur les différentes formes d’audace se poursuit encore aujourd’hui. Ses derniers voyages au Vietnam ont conduit à la rencontre et au soutien d’un groupe de femmes anciennes guerrières ayant combattu pour l’indépendance de leur pays. Aujourd’hui, elle œuvre à la création d’une fondation pour la paix et le développement durable, tout en pratiquant méditation, alpinisme et apnée.
