「書道って、結局よくわからない」そんなふうに感じたことはありませんか？でも実は、その「わからなさ」の中にこそ、楽しさとヒントが隠れているのです。書道歴12年、慶應義塾高等学校5年生の杉岡来輝さんは、書道の面白さを「観察」と「発見」のステップで解き明かしてくれます。形で見るか、線で見るか、空間として見るかなど、作品を通して判断していく書道鑑賞法について、線の強弱、白と黒のバランス、そして自由な感性に注目することで、作品はまるで抽象画のように広がって見えてきます。このトークが、書道という少し遠く感じる世界を、ぐっと身近に引き寄せてくれるはずです。
