Chérif Samsédine Sarr es un apasionado del desarrollo social y la justicia climática en Senegal. Actualmente, ocupa el cargo de Director General de la Fundación Xaley, una organización dedicada a la protección infantil y la promoción de la igualdad de género, con
un enfoque particular en la educación de las niñas y el empoderamiento de las mujeres. Su visión subraya la importancia de una cooperación internacional basada en el respeto mutuo,
donde el impacto social no se imponga desde afuera, sino que se construya de manera
colaborativa con las comunidades locales.Además, Chérif es el fundador del Réseau des Communautés Auto-Financées du Sénégal, un proyecto centrado en la autonomía económica de las mujeres mediante la educación financiera y el autofinanciamiento. A lo largo de su carrera, ha impulsado numerosas iniciativas para combatir la pobreza y reducir las desigualdades sociales. Con experiencia en áreas que van desde la cooperación científica hasta la gestión de proyectos en comunidades vulnerables, Chérif se ha consolidado como una figura clave en el ámbito del desarrollo social.
