The Game Beyond Words | Quvonchbek ????????? | TEDxAmerican University of Technology
Communication isn’t just about what we say—it's also about what we don't. This talk dives into the unspoken language of gestures, tone, and presence that shapes how we connect, persuade, and lead. Discover the powerful game happening beyond words—and how mastering it can transform the way we influence the world. Rahmonov Quvonchbek is a student at American University of Technology in Tashkent who transformed his university experience through the unexpected power of table tennis. Originally from Fergana, Quvonchbek arrived in Tashkent feeling isolated and invisible until discovering the university's ping pong room. Through this simple game, he built meaningful connections with professionals in his field, found his voice in the classroom, and developed the confidence to become a campus leader.Today, Quvonchbek is the founder of his university's table tennis club and a key organizer of Zakovat, an intellectual team competition. His journey from isolation to community exemplifies how shared activities can bridge differences and create belonging in unexpected ways. Quvonchbek speaks about finding connection through passion, the shoulder-to-shoulder relationships that often prove more meaningful than networking.
