The Past “In Beta”:How History Evolves | Keith Seeley | TEDxWuxi DSAS Youth
Keith Seeley shares his unique insights on "How History Evolves". History is not only about the truth of the past, but also about how we choose to interpret and convey it. It is an ongoing dialogue and a way to better understand ourselves/ and the world. Keith Seeley teaches Humanities at NKCS Upper Secondary. He often reflects on how best to prepare students for the wider world. In his view, critical thinking and social awareness are essential for anyone who wishes to engage meaningfully with society. He believes that the study of history provides a valuable path to develop and refine these skills. In his talk, he will demonstrate how source criticism works in practice and how historical narratives shape the social landscape of our time. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
