Dress Bold, Be Bold and Step Into Visible Leadership | Pamela Gardner | TEDxSanDiegoWomen
When did you first start conforming to fit in? For me it started in the 5th Grade with my Jordache Jeans. The truth is many of us are still chasing Jordache Jeans, except now it's black suits, title changes, and corporate personas. What we forget is how dress is how we express and when we shrink how we dress, we shrink who we are. It's time to step into the outfit that reflects who you truly are - not who you've been told to be. Dress Bold, Be Bold and that's when the recognition, momentum, and freedom begins.Join the global movement of female leaders in STEM, having more fun, feeling more fulfilled, and making more impacts and advancements than ever before. When more women in STEM bring their whole selves to the table, we generate more innovation, balance, and creative ideas in the world.website: https://itstimetogetvisible.com/pam-gardner/

A major part of Panagiotis' work is visiting schools and helping students to more easily embrace diversity—first accepting others, then themselves. Since 2012, he has been implementing experiential interventions in schools, companies, and with the general public. - 13:59Άπειρες προκλήσεις...made of iron | Georgia Kalpazidou | TEDxZakynthosΜια έμπνευση επί σκηνής ήταν η Γεωργία Καλπαζίδου. Georgia Kalpazidou is a graduate of the Department of Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with postgraduate studies in Historical and Balkan Linguistics. She worked on a research program at the Institute of Modern Greek Studies (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) from 2018 to 2021. Recently, she began her journey as a PhD candidate in Linguistics at Democritus University of Thrace (D.P.Th.), focusing on the study of the Romani language through the lens of linguistic contact. She started sharing her scientific interests—and especially her love for the Romani language—with the new sociolinguistics research team "AmalinoGlossa/Αμαλινόγλωσσα," based at the University of Volos. As an educator, she has provided her expertise to programs and initiatives of relevant bodies to support the social inclusion of marginalized Romani communities in Greece at both local and regional levels. Founding member of REVMA since 2021, combating dropout in the field of education. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
