Who You Are is What You Think You Are | Prapti Verma | TEDxTIU

A curious human in progress. She wants to explain how human behavior is a direct reflection of the stimuli that we are subjected to, one of the most important ones being our own self-talk. The main idea is that we are not permanently defined by parts, but by the pattern we choose to reinforce. We can rewire our thoughts and reclaim control over who we become. Prapti Verma is a Business Economics student at Tokyo International University with a passion for storytelling and the science of human behaviour. She thinks of herself as a challenger who seeks new experiences every step of the way. She has previously worked and volunteered in digital and social media marketing, a field in which she has found herself greatly inclined and intrigued by branding and its effects on consumer behaviour. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
