Nicola San Marco - regista e artista dell’animazione - ci accompagna in un viaggio tra sogni, cinema e memoria familiare. Attraverso il ricordo del nonno pescatore e la passione per i cartoni animati, racconta come le radici possano diventare la forza creativa che alimenta l’immaginazione.
Un invito a credere che anche ciò che sembra impossibile può prendere vita, se impariamo a disegnarlo prima nella nostra mente. Nicola Sammarco, regista, story artist e autore di fumetti, ha iniziato la sua carriera con Disney Company Italia illustrando la graphic novel Alla Ricerca di Dory per Pixar. Ha poi collaborato come story artist con realtà internazionali come Universal Studios, Skydance, Google e Aardman, lavorando a produzioni di rilievo tra cui Klaus, The Inventor e David. Nel 2019 ha fondato a Taranto Nasse Animation Studio, prima società benefit italiana di produzione cinematografica, con cui ha realizzato Nicopò, la prima serie animata al mondo interamente green. Oggi guida produzioni per Rai Kids e sviluppa progetti per il mercato europeo e asiatico.
