As Shantanu biked 2700 km along the Ganga, Partho flew in and out, meeting people along the riverbanks and collecting Ganga water, havan ash, flotsam, and river soil. He used these elements to create a unique series of paintings, capturing the spirit of the river and its people. Partho Sengupta is an artist and storyteller who uses lived experiences and natural materials to document culture and memory. His work often blends travel, tradition, and creativity to capture the essence of people and places.
