Forte de son rôle à l’UNESCO, elle présente la Recommandation sur l’éthique de l’IA, signée par 193 pays, et appelle à une gouvernance mondiale fondée sur les droits humains, la justice sociale et l’équité. Elle plaide pour une IA inclusive, adaptée aux réalités de chaque pays, et exhorte les ingénieurs à cultiver, aux côtés de leurs compétences techniques, une conscience éthique profonde. Un plaidoyer inspirant pour une technologie au service de l’humanité. Gabriela Ramos est une économiste, diplomate et experte en politiques publiques mexicaine. Elle a été conseillère spéciale du Secrétaire général de l’OCDE, où elle a dirigé de nombreux projets sur la croissance inclusive, l’innovation, l’égalité femmes-hommes et l’éducation. Depuis 2020, elle occupe un rôle clé à l’UNESCO, en pilotant les travaux sur l’éthique de l’intelligence artificielle, les droits humains et les transformations sociales. Elle est à l’origine de la Recommandation sur l’éthique de l’IA, un texte historique adopté par 193 États membres. Its meaning varies from person to person, encompassing mental health, personal fulfillment, and diverse cultural perspectives—there is success in all these forms. Grace is a grade 11 student from M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington, Ontario. Her speech revolves around the idea of success and how we as a society may benefit from shifting our conventional view on the topic. This is a true passion for Grace as she believes that societal stress and the pressures of living up to standards is causing more harm than good. Outside of speaking, she is an acid student and leader, involving herself in as many extracurriculars as possible including student council, drama council, tech cre, link crew, student senate, and the Central Ontario Leadership Seminars Alumni Committee, giving back to her community through volunteering at the Burlington Food Bank, and more. Grace is a very passionate student and is dedicated to doing the best she can to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor when she grows up.
