The Midlife Aperture: | Vivish George | TEDxYouth@CIRS

Having a successful 30-year career in banking and real estate, Mr. George realized the need for passion at 53. For him, the answer was photography. In his talk, he explained how he made the change with his family’s support. He made the pivot, proving his daughter Ananya’s quote: "It’s better to do at 55 what you wanted to do at 25." This journey taught him two things: Portraiture masters communication and courage by forcing him to face rejection. With his words, he taught us that travel photography teaches perspective: Never give up on your dreams, because it's truly never too late. Vivish George is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in financial services and real estate. He founded a successful debt management company, specializing in loan and debt restructuring and repayment facilitation for clients and banks. He is also a professional photographer specializing in portrait and street photography, and co-founder of M'Jane Studio, a creative space for photographers in Chennai. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
