Recept nélkül kapható nevetés | György Kárpáti | TEDxGyőr
HUN: „Úgysem fog sikerülni.” „Lehetetlen.”
Mi kellett ehhez a sikerhez?
Erről mesél Dr. Kárpáti György, a Futni mentem című film producere.ENG: “It will never work.” “Impossible.” “There’s no point in trying.”
Many people think this way – but fortunately, not everyone does.If the creators of the Hungarian film 'Gone Running' had given space to these thoughts, today we wouldn’t be talking about one of Hungary’s most successful films. The film achieved tremendous success, drawing record audiences to cinemas – at a time when streaming dominates the market. But even more fascinating are the dimensions behind its success: the shift in mindset, the countless hours of dedicated work, and the complex network of human relationships. What did it take to achieve this success?
A new way of thinking, resilience, and deliberate, strategic building.Adaptation to the challenges of filmmaking and audience expectations – and the recognition that the methodology of filmmaking can inspire other fields as well. This is what Dr. György Kárpáti, producer of 'Gone Running', shares in his TEDx Talk. György is a habilitated university lecturer with lifelong and deeply rooted ties to film, dating back to his childhood. Over the decades, he progressed from watching films to teaching and making them, while also running a cinema, writing film reviews, and distributing films. As the producer of 'Gone Running', he and his team aimed to prove several things – and judging by the 720,000 viewers and the awards the film received, they largely succeeded.Gone Running became the second most-watched Hungarian film produced after 1990.
