Caring for the Spaces That Care for Us | Charlotte Tarin | TEDxYouth@SantiagoSTEAM
We all know nature is good for us—but are we doing enough to care for it in return? In this inspiring talk, Charlotte explores how outdoor spaces support our minds and bodies, and why it’s up to us to protect them. A simple act like picking up trash might mean more than you think. Charlotte Tarin is a sixth grade student at Santiago STEAM Magnet Elementary School. Any teacher at her school will share that Charlotte is always there to help. She stays after school to help clean up classrooms, is always ready to move equipment before and after school events, and she's the first to volunteer to be a mentor to younger students in need of a true role model.
