「食の力」/The Power of Food | Makiko Osada | TEDxAkitaIntlU
This talk explores the “power of food” and how our daily choices around meals shape both physical and mental well-being. Drawing on her experience as a registered dietitian, the speaker shares memorable stories from working in elder care, supporting patients with eating disorders, and learning from her own grandparents’ longevity and lifestyle. She highlights how food is not only about nutrition, but also about memory, connection, and happiness. Through examples from Japanese food culture and school lunches, she demonstrates how small, mindful investments in food—just a few extra minutes a day—can enrich health, strengthen communities, and lead to a more fulfilling life.

- 14:31One minute to bounce back, bounce forward or bounce up | Dr. Theresa Watts | TEDxEtTagammoOne Minute to Bounce Back, Bounce Forward, or Bounce Up fits beautifully into the TEDx theme of Unmuted because resilience is a voice. When life knocks us down, our silence often isn’t just the absence of words — it’s the absence of belief. Bouncing back means reclaiming that belief. In one minute, you can make a decision: I will not stay here. That’s the moment you unmute yourself to possibility.Bouncing forward is different. It’s not about returning to where you were — it’s about leaping into where you’ve never been. It’s speaking up for the life you want, even if no one else is speaking that language yet. That’s unmuted courage. And then there’s bouncing up — the vertical leap of spirit. It’s when you rise beyond your circumstances, not by force, but by truth. This is when you stop whispering your dreams and start declaring them.Unmuted isn’t just about volume. It’s about presence. It’s the power of taking the minute you have — the one you’re in right now — and using it to choose motion over stagnation. Whether you bounce back from loss, forward into the unknown, or up into your highest self, the moment you decide… you’re no longer muted. - 17:22Synergizing Green & Circular Economy: From Sustainability to Profitability | Antony Kusuma | TEDxITBThe transition to a circular economy (CE) business model represents a transformative shift in economic development, aiming to separate economic growth from excessive resource consumption and environmental degradation. Unlike the conventional linear economy, which operates on a "take-make-dispose" basis, the circular economy focuses on maintaining the value of products, materials, and resources within the system for as long as possible. This approach involves strategies such as reuse, repair, remanufacturing, and recycling to establish a closed-loop system that minimizes waste and optimizes resource use.The principles of the circular economy align seamlessly with the green economy's goals of fostering sustainability while promoting economic prosperity. Both frameworks emphasize reducing environmental impact and enhancing resource efficiency, making them complementary approaches to achieving sustainable growth. Together, they encourage businesses to innovate and adopt practices that not only safeguard the environment but also create new opportunities for profitability and long-term resilience. • VP Marketing of INDODAX - Indonesia Digital Asset Exchange • Product marketing specialist in startup and tech ecosystems • Advocates for aligning business growth with sustainable practices This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
