FLOW: The Rhythm Dance Found | Yichen Wang | TEDxRDFIS Youth

Judy from Grade 11 shared her flow experience in dance: “When music reverberates within me, my body and mind move in perfect sync, and academic stress melts away instantly.” She refers to this state as “kinetic meditation” — a state of deep focus triggered by physical movement. I'm Judy from RDF International School. At 16, an age full of jumbled thoughts and pressures, I stumbled on a magical state in the simplest spot: dance class. Dance has always been my language, but a moment of pure flow revealed its true power: a state where time dissolves and music vibrates from within, creating a perfect unity of mind and body. This experience is now my secret to dissolving academic pressure. More than a break, this kinetic meditation is a return to oneself. A quiet power, accessible to all, waiting to be rediscovered in motion. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
