Harshit’s talk explores the powerful influence social media has on teens, from building connections to shaping self-worth through constant comparison. He shares his personal experiences while revealing how algorithms silently guide emotions and behavior. Ultimately, he encourages everyone to take control of their digital lives and use technology as a positive force rather than a distraction.Harshit Chaturvedy is an ambitious Freshmen at Forsyth Central HS and is keen for leadership, STEM, and sparking meaningful conversations. As the founder of STEM Sprouts, a nonprofit that inspires kids through hands-on STEM learning, Harshit has seen firsthand how digital platforms can amplify impact and connect people across communities. At the same time, he understands the pressures, distractions, and risks that come with growing up in a digital-first world.
Through experiences in CTSOs such as FBLA and TSA, Harshit has developed a strong voice and perspective on how young people can navigate social media with balance and purpose.
