More than an Insect | Defne Fidancı | TEDxALKEVHS Youth
This speech explores"Kafkaism and the concept of change", examining how Franz Kafka’s works portray the individual’s struggle with transformation, alienation, and loss of identity in an increasingly complex world. Through analyzing Kafka’s unique narrative style and symbolism, the talk reflects on how his characters mirror modern society’s feelings of disconnection and uncertainty. It also highlights how "change", both internal and external, can be a powerful yet unsettling force that shapes human identity. By connecting Kafka’s early 20th-century perspective with today’s rapidly evolving world, the speech encourages the audience to question how we adapt to transformation while preserving our sense of self.
