Professor Doutor na USP, é um pesquisador movido pela paixão pela educação, pelas infâncias e pelas lutas sociais.Atua no Departamento de Educação, Informação e Comunicação (DEDIC) e orienta pesquisas nos programas de pós-graduação da UNESP e da UFTM. Editor da revista Cadernos CIMEAC e líder do GEPIC – Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Interculturalidade e Educação em Ciências –, construiu uma trajetória que começa nas Ciências Biológicas e se fortalece na formação de professores. Seus projetos entrelaçam educação ambiental, práticas interculturais e justiça socioambiental.Ao longo dos anos, Danilo se aprofundou na valorização das cosmovisões indígenas e afrodescendentes, destacando como suas práticas podem contribuir para a ciência moderna, inclusive em áreas como saúde, meio ambiente e educação.No TEDx, convida o público a trilhar caminhos para uma educação verdadeiramente transformadora, inspirada por pedagogias decoloniais e pelo compromisso com a inclusão e o pertencimento. Through Mills Media, Afrotales+, and SESA, Jesse is building platforms that empower young creators and redefine how the world sees African stories. Jesse Sunkwa-Mills is a Ghanaian filmmaker, animator, and entrepreneur pioneering African storytelling through animation.As CEO of Mills Media, he created the acclaimed 3D film Asantewaa: Battle for the Golden Stool, which won Best Animation at the African Indigenous Language Film Festival. His subsequent works, RISE and The Guardians, achieved consecutive sold-out premieres in Ghana.Jesse also founded Afrotales+, a streaming platform for African animated content, and Mills Media Academy, training young creatives.
