Through Mills Media, Afrotales+, and SESA, Jesse is building platforms that empower young creators and redefine how the world sees African stories. Jesse Sunkwa-Mills is a Ghanaian filmmaker, animator, and entrepreneur pioneering African storytelling through animation.As CEO of Mills Media, he created the acclaimed 3D film Asantewaa: Battle for the Golden Stool, which won Best Animation at the African Indigenous Language Film Festival. His subsequent works, RISE and The Guardians, achieved consecutive sold-out premieres in Ghana.Jesse also founded Afrotales+, a streaming platform for African animated content, and Mills Media Academy, training young creatives.
