The symphony of traditional and modern music instruments opens unlimited artistic exploration spaces—bringing cosmical harmony. Tarawangsawelas is a music group from Bandung, pioneered by Teguh Permana. This group blends Sundanese cosmology elements with a modern touch and social issues as the main inspiration, making life experiences a source of creativity. With their signature style, Tarawangsawelas has created numerous songs and albums, and performed on various music stages in Asia and Europe.In their performances, Tarawangsawelas brings a song titled Sekalipun from the album Wanci, released in 2017. This 12 minutes and 32 seconds long song is dominated by traditional West Javanese musical instruments—tarawangsa and jentreng—blended with modern pedal effects, creating a mystic and meditative music atmosphere.
