Before you cancel me: freedom to speak, fear to create | Ena Avdić | TEDxSarajevo Youth

This talk explores how fear of cancel culture is driving creators to self-censor and lose authenticity online. Ena Avdić argues for a more proportional, context-aware approach to accountability. One that protects space for mistakes, growth, and honest expression while still addressing real harm. Ena Avdić is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian influencer, TV host, and content creator known for her authentic voice and refined visual style. She began her career on digital platforms, where she built a strong following through honest, aesthetically driven content exploring everyday life, fashion, culture, and personal growth.She holds a degree in Business Management from the International University of Sarajevo, which informs her strategic approach to branding and communication in the digital space. In 2025, Ena launched her television career as the host of Hot Date, an original talk show on OBN TV that creates space for open, authentic conversations with guests from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.Her work and influence have been recognized with the award for Best Micro-Influencer at the Wannabe Digital Awards, positioning her as one of the most distinctive voices of the new regional creator generation.
