What if fandom could be more than just cheering for your favorite artist? In this heartfelt TEDx talk, a young music lover shares how her passion for concerts and fan culture shaped her identity, built her confidence, and inspired her to create a school fan club. From connecting with others through shared love for musicians to blending music with poetry, she shows how fandom can foster belonging, creativity, and joy.This student developed their talk as part of the TED-Ed Student Talk Program in Cajon Valley Union School District. The purpose of TEDxKidsElCajon is to help develop and amplify student voices in our community to empower our youth by creating space for them to share their ideas, bringing awareness to their experiences, and advocating their perspectives.
