Sanat, bazen bir kaçış, bazen de kendini bulma yoludur. Ressam Elif Erdem, bu konuşmasında çocukluk hayallerinden başlayan ve karşılaştığı engellere rağmen vazgeçmediği sanat yolculuğunu samimi bir şekilde paylaşıyor.
Başarının aslında yürüdüğümüz yol olduğunu ve asıl meselenin kendine inanmak olduğunu anlatan bu ilham verici hikayede, kendi yolunu çizmek isteyen herkes için bir ışık var. 1990 yılında İstanbul’da doğan, Balkan kökenli sanatçı Elif Erdem, Beykent Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nü tamamladıktan sonra eğitimine Londra’da Royal Academy of Arts’ta devam etti. Genç yaşlarından itibaren hem Türkiye’de hem de yurt dışında birçok sergiye katıldı, eserleri uluslararası sanat fuarlarında yer aldı.Sanat yolculuğu yalnızca tuvalle sınırlı kalmadı; 2015 yılında St. Petersburg’da aldığı eğitimle mücevher tasarımına yöneldi. Kendi kurduğu markasıyla çağdaş, özgün ve hikâyesi olan mücevherler tasarladı.Tasarım ve sanat arasındaki bağı incelikle ördü.Hiperrealist resim diliyle izleyiciyi hayal ile gerçeklik arasında bırakırken; detaylara olan tutkusunu hem fırça darbelerinde hem de taşların kıvrımlarında sergilemeye devam eden Elif Erdem, 2025 yılında Floransa Bienali’ne katılmaya hazırlanıyor.
